This week the Freshmen Brendan, Lucas, Dylan, Daniel, Caterina, and Myles took their first steps into the machine shop and helped put together our giant Tetris rig. The rig itself measures 9′ x 6′ and has 35 LED panels, with each panel having about 100 LEDs. They are really bright! We also measured all the wiring we will need, only 400 ft required!
Matt and Eli completed manufacturing their aquaponics lights for the Biotech shop, and will be installing all the lights next week.
Several Seniors are currently working on science fair projects in the shop. Many of them have chosen some sort of robotics theme to showcase. Below is a short clip from Senior Kevin who successfully coded his prototype this afternoon.
