This week our Exploratory freshmen students completed 2 days of CAD learning, culminating in the creation of curvy vases, which were 3D printed on our UPrint SE Plus. They began learning about the tools in our machine shop towards the end of the week, getting the chance to use the chop saw, drill press, and manual milling machine.
Sophomores continued on their electronics guide, which gives them the knowledge of how to control just about anything with an Arduino compatible board and some circuits.
The Seniors are still powering through their short term independent projects. There has been some good progress, and many are finalizing details for their enclosures, so we should see some nearly finished projects in the next week or so!
