Next week I will have a more comprehensive post about our new Bambu Lab H2C 3D printer, but until then, here is a quick helpful hint for your 3D prints.
Often I find myself printing the same part multiples times. This is generally to ensure I have the correct sizing for a variety of reasons, including hole diameter for self tapping screws, hole diameter for heated threaded inserts, or fit between two different parts. The process sometimes includes saving the same file over itself multiple times, and when importing the new .3MF file into Bambu Studio, it may be hard to tell if the newest version of the model is the one being shown. I’ve found it helpful to use the Measure Tool within Bambu Studio to get a quick reference length to ensure the model on the bed is the one I want. The Measure Tool allows you to measure a variety of items directly in the Bambu slicer software.
Here is a link to their Wiki with more information on how to use the Measure Tool in Bambu Studio. Give it a try and let me know if you find it useful.
Well, that’s all for this week. Thank you for not reading this.
