Semester projects are getting close to completion. Senior Eli, who finished his Seven Segment Display Clock, has decided to work in the machine shop to create a mechanical nut cracker. His design will utilize a circular aluminum frame with a threaded rod inserted at the top. Twisting the threaded rod will tighten it against a nut positioned inside the circular frame. Apply some more twisting force and the nut should crack. Check out the videos below of Eli working on his project.
