This summer, Engineering shop teacher Mr. Sam Christy spent a few weeks organizing the shop and making sure all works stations included a bench power supply, oscilloscope, and soldering station. This enables students to have all the practical tools necessary to work on electronics and troubleshoot projects. Using breadboards, sensors, leds, and other types of hardware, students are able to mock up proof of concept of their ideas. Once proof of concept is complete, students have access to a PCB mill, and are able to create their very own circuit boards from scratch.
