The Cardboard Canoe has been finished, so our Freshmen students returned to working on their electronics guide. They seemed happy to change gears from our fabrication shop to the electronics shop, but are still eager to compete at the canoe races this weekend. We will have updates on how the boat performs next week.
One of our students, Daniel Annacone, sent us photos of a special weekend he had up in the clouds – literally. Daniel got a taste of flying as he went on a ‘Discovery Flight’ with Aeroventure flight school. Daniel shown a lot of interest in aviation, and he finally got to make his dream of flight a reality. Very cool!
Our Sophomores are busy getting their SumoBots ready for the upcoming battle next week. Additionally, they will have some practice bouts with their projects at our end of year showcase for parents and friends on Tuesday June 4.
