In an Engineering and electronics shop cable management can be an overwhelming task. usb cords, alligator clips, male to male pins, male to female pins, power cords, 5V, 12V; it all adds up pretty quickly and create quite a mess.
Luckily for the shop, students understand that keeping things organized leads to more productive work time, and ensures they are able to find what they need when they need it. At the end of each day, time is set aside to clean and organize the shop so we can start fresh in the morning. It’s good practice, and a great habit to get into.
