Unfortunately, we did not have student blog posts last weekend, so we will aren’t able to share them with you this week.
However, a few highlights. Junior, Tim Hunt ’27 made good progress on the pressure vessel he is turning on the lathe.
Senior Matt Stricker ’26 and Junior Andrew Huang ’27 learned about silicone molds, and used a 3D printer to make molds to cure silicon parts for their projects. This is something we have not been able to do in the shop yet. Test results look positive!
Juniors Sydney Hamel ’27 and Quinn Dufour ’27 began research into their Skittles sorter project – a monumental task to automatically sort skittles into their different colors.
The Sophomores are nearing the finish line with their LED Light Box Projects, while the Freshmen continued to learn about coding and circuitry with Mr. Christy.
We look forward to sharing student blog posts again next week.
